|| Roundtable Discussion: Improving Educational and Career Opportunities For Military Veterans
Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) invite you to a special roundtable discussion April 29 at The University of Akron focusing on the need to improve educational and career opportunities for military veterans.
With post-9/11 military veterans returning home to high rates of unemployment, it is essential that they be provided with greater opportunities to succeed. Streamlining the process for transferring military training and experience into college credits is one way to help. The roundtable discussion will focus on educational and career needs as well as other challenges facing returning veterans.
Military service members, community and academic leaders, and members of the media are invited to attend. Join us for light refreshments and networking.
